SEE POST BELOW FOR TODAY'S ASSIGNMENT- this is just if you're interested.
The IceCube Neutrino Observatory will be hosting Zoom calls every Wednesday for the next couple of months. John Hardin and Yuya Makino will give a live presentation from the coldest, harshest place on Earth (where my good friend, Ta-Lee, lived for a couple years). The hour-long call will introduce the science of IceCube and cover living and working at the South Pole. Plus, there will be time for you to ask your own questions! All ages are welcome. And if you can't tune in this week- they will be back next Wednesday too! When: Wednesday, April 1 at 7:00PM How: join zoom meeting ID 392 005 592 Today I just want you to watch the Bill Nye episode on Rivers and Streams (click the title or watch below). No notes needed- just watch! :) The assignment for these two days is to complete the Environments of Deposition webquest. If you need a copy of it, please email me and I'll be happy to send it to you! Sorry- it's under copywrite so I cannot post it to the blog.
