Today we went over the homework from last night on how to write proper hypotheses and updated the eCyberMission three-ring binders with provided feedback on the research step.
Homework: none Today we went over the variables practice homework, then finished the Scientific Processes PPT discussion from yesterday. Groups then made sure their completed and updated essay and works cited are uploaded to the eCyberMission account so that I can read them tonight and provide feedback for tomorrow.
Homework: Forming Hypotheses worksheet Today we discussed proper hypothesis formatting and independent/dependent variables. We also went through some examples using scenarios with Simpsons characters.
Homework: Variables Practice page (front AND back) Today was another eCyberMission workday. Goal #1 for today was to have the Works Cited completed, in alphabetical order, and in the textbox on the eCyber website. Goal #2 was to have the "research paper" (what did you learn from your research) written and read by each member of the group. I will provide feedback for any changes that need to be made on Wednesday. Tomorrow we start learning about hypotheses and really getting into the fun part of the project! YAY!
Homework: none Today we worked on the eCyberMission projects and that's what we'll be doing all next week as well.
Homework: none Today students took the Unit 4 Hydrology test; grades will be entered this afternoon. The rest of the semester will be spent working on the eCyberMission projects. Huzzah!
