We then discussed characteristics of minerals (what makes it a mineral? NCCIS) and properties of minerals.
Homework: none! Yay! Today students presented their eCyberMission projects if they were able to make a PowerPoint (second block had one group get cut off and another group will also need to present tomorrow).
Homework: complete the Minerals guided notes page using the pages from the textbook- due tomorrow! Today was the last workday for eCyberMission! *cries* Tomorrow we will have about 10 minutes at the beginning of class to do finishing touches and then groups who created presentations will share with the class what they have been working on all these months. I am so proud of how hard everyone has been working!
Homework: complete Minerals guided notes using your textbook- due Wednesday This week we will be focusing on finishing touches of the eCyberMission project. I gave feedback to each group on what they had done so far, they worked on the team collaboration and community benefit sections, finished the data analysis (or testing prototype) and conclusion textboxes, an abstract, and create a presentation to share after break. Phew! That's a lot!
Homework: think tac toe project due Wednesday, 2/12, and work on eCyerbMission if your group is behind Donations can be dropped off in my room or in the box outside the school store. We will be collecting donations until Monday, February 10th. Please help if you can! Thank you!

All prototypes should be built and all data should be collected by Monday. I will be looking at your online mission folders and providing feedback.
