Today was an eCyberMission workday during which groups discussed and "finalized" their topic and initial plan for either a scientific investigation or engineering design.
Homework: finish signing up for eCyberMission … go to www.ecybermission.com then click "login" (student) and it should prompt you to finish answering the questions. If you hadn't started the process, click the big yellow box that says something like "accept the mission, register now." Have your parents help you with the questions if you don't understand them (we are a suburban school, and you likely haven't participated in any other AEOP programs before). Our school's NCES number is 130129002248. YOUR PARENTS MUST COMPLETE THE LAST PART THAT REQUIRES THEIR INITIALS! After that step, you'll see a place to "add my advisor" (or something similar to that) and you'll then search for me and add me as your advisor. Once you've done that- you're done! :)
Tuesday
I will have a sub and you'll complete a packet to reinforce information from our unit. If you finish early, you can work on completing your green study guide using your notes.
Homework: finish Factors of Weather packet questions, work on the study guide, and study for test this Friday
Wednesday
I will have a sub again and you'll watch some Brain Pop videos (wind, ozone layer, greenhouse effect), and then a video clip from GPB about jet streams- CLICK HERE FOR JET STREM VIDEO. After this, you will work with a partner to complete the card activity for sea breezes and land breezes, then complete a page about sea breezes and land breezes using the card activity.
Homework: finish sea breeze and land breeze activity, work on the study guide, and study for test this Friday
