Homework: none- unless you want to work on your plot diagram or your online book (if your parents give the permission from the email)
Today we took a rocks vocabulary quiz and then began working on the plot diagram for the Rock Cycle Project that involves creating a children's story. I emailed the parents using the email addresses the school has on file- if it wasn't received then have them check the junk or spam folders. The email is coming from storyjumper.com and requires parents to click a button (I believe that's all it is) that will give their child permission to work on the project at home. Since we are using a web-based program with it's own privacy rules, we ask that this step be taken to make sure we aren't violating any terms of service. I only gave the login information to students who showed me a finished plot diagram. All other students will get their username and password on Monday during class. We will be in the computer lab Monday through Wednesday next week.
